Preserving the Spiritual Legacy – with Knowledge, Vision, and a Modern Approach

With great care and dedication, Sheikh Mohammed, son of Sheikh Ibrahim, oversees the affairs of the Tariqa Burhaniyya worldwide. His focus lies on education and the spiritual deepening of the community.

In this spirit, he began to make the precious teachings of his grandfather, Sheikh Mohammed ʿUthmān, newly accessible – both in written and spoken form.

At the same time, he collected the hidden wisdom of earlier saints, preserved in poetic Qasidas and sacred writings. His publications, such as the series “ʿIlmuʿanni” (“Learn from Me”) and the poetry collection “Ibtisam al-Madamiʿ” (“The Smile of Tears”), reflect this living heritage.

Under his leadership, a multimedia library of audio, video, and written works was created to transmit the knowledge of the Tariqa in its purest form. To meet the needs of the digital age, he established the first communications center, connecting all Burhaniyya centers worldwide with the headquarters in Khartoum.

Through his efforts, the Tariqa’s international online presence was also developed – now accessible in Arabic, English, and German.
